A printing technique that expresses shades and gradients in an image by varying the "size and density of dots" using a single ink color. While appearing as a mere collection of dots up close, it creates a visual effect that reveals a photographic cityscape when viewed from a distance. **TOMOYUKI TAKAHASHI | Printmaker** Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1986, lives in Tokyo. After extensive experience in apparel and various design fields, he independently established his silk-screen technique. Based on cityscape photographs he has taken, he creates works such as posters and T-shirts for Plusmaru®, which express cityscapes not merely as records but as "memories," by merging the calculated aesthetics of digital halftones with the analog texture of printmaking.
