Vitamin C Serum Hong Kong Distillery extracts thedextrorotatory anti-oxidizing Vitamin C which has a high stability and can be takenas supplement. Licorice-derived whitening factor are added to enhance theeffects of product. More to Know: Most of the cosmeticproduct used levorotatory vitamin c (L-ascorbic acid) which is a petroleum-basedproduct. However, this kind of vitamin C will decompose to radical under UVlight, catalyzing formation of melanin (a kind of black pigment) and triggeringpermanent peeling. As for Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (EAA,another kind of vitamin C), a high dosage of over 22% is needed for the skin-whiteningeffect. Yet, products with such high concentration will overload the cell, catalyzingcell-aging process. Our own formulated combination ofvitamin C and AA2G exerts skin-whitening effect in a low dosage while protectingyour skin. This serum can be used alone or in combination.
