Lay the scarf flat in the basin and gently press it up and down with open hands about twenty to thirty times. This allows the detergent solution to flow through the fiber gaps, preventing the fibers from tangling. 2. Rinse using the same gentle pressing method until the scarf is clean. 3. Gently squeeze out excess water. To dry, lay the scarf flat on a towel or a drying rack in a shaded area to air dry naturally. Direct sunlight can cause wool fibers to yellow.
