While minor impacts are generally less damaging, it is still advisable to prevent them (e.g., accidental drops). This pair features hypoallergenic steel posts. It is recommended to disinfect the ear hooks with an alcohol wipe or antiseptic solution after each use. Sterling silver components should not be submerged in hot springs. If oxidation occurs, the silver parts can be polished with a silver polishing cloth. Due to the central setting, it is not recommended to immerse the entire piece in silver cleaning solutions.
