He's also a lutenist! However, Meow-lileo wasn't initially part of the band; I wanted to create him as a separate charm. Please hand wash gently~ Introducing the members of the "Meow-sical" Celestial Band: Oboe | Meow-chel (William Herschel) The British astronomer who first discovered Uranus as a planet, he was also a musician skilled in the oboe, harp, and organ! William Herschel played the oboe in the military and orchestras, and served as organist and concert director at Bath's Octagon Chapel! His sister Caroline was also an invaluable assistant throughout his endeavors. William Herschel built over a hundred telescopes himself, discovered moons of Saturn and Uranus, and compiled lists of nebulae and double stars. His numerous contributions to astronomy earned him the title "Father of Stellar Astronomy." Violin | Meow-instein (Albert Einstein) The renowned father of modern physics! His most famous scientific achievements include mass-energy equivalence (E = mc²), special and general relativity, the photoelectric effect, and Brownian motion. Old Ein was also a passionate violinist, particularly fond of Mozart and Bach (rumor has it he disliked Wagner's work...), and played the piano (his mother was an accomplished pianist). He performed chamber music with many musicians and often participated in charity concerts in his later years. Music was indispensable to his research career! Keyboardist | Meow-kin (Stephen Hawking) The most brilliant contemporary astrophysicist and cosmologist, known for proposing the theory of "Hawking radiation." His book, "A Brief History of Time," became a worldwide bestseller, bringing us closer to understanding black holes and the origin of the universe. Due to Lou Gehrig's disease, Hawking was unable to speak, initially relying on a hand-held clicker to convert text to speech via computer software. Guitarist | Meow-e (Brian May) Rock music x astronomy? Believe it! Brian May, the guitarist for Queen, is also an astrophysicist! He participated in NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto and the sample-return mission for the asteroid Bennu. He is also fascinated by stereoscopic photography, creating 3D images from photos of numerous celestial bodies like Comet 67P, Pluto, and asteroid Bennu. He even released a single inspired by the New Horizons mission! He has achieved and contributed greatly in both music and science. Conductor: Meow-lileo (Galileo Galilei) Hawking once stated that the birth of modern science owes a great deal to Galileo. Hailed as the father of modern observational astronomy, he was the son of a musician and mathematician, and his father was an accomplished lutenist. Galileo not only played the lute but also sketched, embodying the spirit of a true artist. In 1609, he turned his self-made telescope towards the heavens, observing the phases of Venus, discovering Jupiter's four largest moons, Saturn's peculiar "ears," observing sunspots, and mapping the Moon's surface features. He was deemed a heretic by the Church for supporting the heliocentric model. He was a pioneer of the scientific revolution, a giant who enabled future generations to see further!
