When the cyberspace is full, it is the time to return to the embrace of paper.
This is my first personal history "Neko Zine". It is a book...in fact, it is more appropriate; this is a booklet folded out of A4 size paper. It contains only eight pages including the front cover and the back cover, and an A4 poster on the back.
The memorable first issue, with the theme of nostalgic food, the first chapter is Taiwan, "Obviously it is October but it is very hot". It introduces retro ice products, some of which come from the favorite shops in Kyoto. I use hand-drawn illustrations and text to convey the delicacy I have tasted myself.
The second chapter introduces the coffees and pubs in old houses in Tainan. They are all good shops full of nostalgia and delicious. There are many unique shops in Tainan, and they are very good at integrating elements from various places into Taiwan's old houses; this kind of cultural blending, new and old blending temperament, on the contrary, is more in line with Taiwan in my eyes.
The third chapter takes the traditional Japanese food "Ogi" as the protagonist. The sweets made of bean paste and glutinous rice are delicious (not exaggerated, really not exaggerated) with the touch of the tip of the tongue. Here are two famous Ogi shops in Kyoto. I hope I can taste the food prepared by the mother-in-law for a long time...
Finally, turning over the back of the booklet is a Taiwanese food poster with pictures of Taiwanese foods that I have tasted and loved by pinching my mouth.
