My Garden: An Original Design Scarf

One day, squirrels found their way into my garden, and Mimi chased them all around. The air filled with the chattering squeaks of squirrels, until one climbed onto the trellis. Mimi squatted below for the entire afternoon. I’ve always wanted to paint my garden, where I’ve planted strawberry and blueberry bushes, nearly ten varieties of roses, daylilies, lycoris, agapanthus, coneflowers, irises, and more. It’s the persistent dream of a novice gardener. I’ve sown seeds of anticipation for each season, perhaps because without dreams, life loses its light. A few years ago, I shared a thought: “When you have a garden in your heart, you cease to be just a traveler on the road.”
