Using the same technique as used to dye kimonos and obi, the fabric was dyed carefully and thoroughly seven times using a dye made from infused walnut skins. Plant dyeing requires a lot of time and effort, from base dyeing to dyeing over and over, mordant dyeing, washing each time, and storing the dye, so it has become rare these days. The depth of natural color is hard to find anywhere else, and it also has the advantage of not compromising the texture of the fabric. At Anemoi, we aim to create plant dyeing that can be easily incorporated into everyday life. We select dyes with high fastness and strive for durable dyeing. We hope you can experience the ancient techniques and the blessings of nature. The color is a sweet beige. It is a gentle color that looks good on the skin, unique to natural colors. This is a slightly rough wool Linen. The fabric itself is fluffy and warm, but very light (200 grams), so we made it as large as possible and added fringe on all four sides. It's fluffy and will make a great accent piece. You can wrap it around yourself, wrap it loosely, or use it as a lap blanket, and we hope you'll enjoy the cold season. ◎There may be a slight scent of the mordant remaining. (I use iron rust soaked in vinegar to fix the dye.) It will fly away quickly, but if you are concerned about it, air dry it in a shady, well-ventilated place. Wash gently in lukewarm water with a small amount of neutral detergent. After drying using the dry cycle, dry in the shade or leave it undried. Do not soak or bleach. Avoid storing in direct sunlight, in bright light, or in humid places. ◎When ironing, please use a cloth and iron at medium temperature.
