The painter is a Sami Alarik Alariesto (1900-1989) who never received art education. Since the 1950s, he has spontaneously used innocent and frank paintings, sculptures, photography and models to faithfully record the life of the Sami people. .
Alarik's strong artistic style was finally recognized in the 1970s (when he was 75 years old) and was released by Arabia as a series of small ceramic plates.
