Since then, we've been discussing a second design, which has now finally materialized in the form of the Ishie Box. Ishie is a cool Canadian/Chinese model and stylist, and Jake is the founder and lead designer at Beara Beara. Their design for this bag is characterized by a clean front, free of clutter, with a buckle closure at the top. The bag opens smoothly from the top, with sides that can flex and expand when needed. It embodies beauty through simplicity. Ishie favors a wide, statement strap, hence the choice to pair it with the SADIE strap. All Beara Beara bags are crafted from unprocessed cowhide, which features natural variations in texture and tone, a hallmark of handmade leather goods. __Does the leather soften with use?__ Yes, after a few weeks of use, the leather will gradually soften and develop a richer character. However, to maintain the bag's structure and ensure longevity, we recommend avoiding overfilling it with heavy items. __Is the leather waterproof?__ Natural leather is not waterproof. However, both leather and suede can be protected with a waterproofing spray. As sprays may affect the leather's sheen, please use them sparingly. __Will the bag be damaged if it gets wet?__ Exposure to small amounts of moisture will not damage the leather. If the bag accidentally gets splashed with a little water, we recommend hanging it to air dry naturally. __Will the suede fade?__ Under normal use, it will not fade, especially when protected with a waterproofing spray.
