Plant Dyed Cotton Thread Set 1mm/12m x 10 Colors - Floral Colors - Knitting, Embroidery, Felted Wool & Sewing - Cotton & Hemp Multicolor

Product Description

[Fair Trade, Ethical Product] These cotton threads are naturally dyed using local plants by women of the Karen hill tribe in Thailand. We have bundled them into 12m skeins to make them easy to try out. With a thickness of about 1mm, stitches are clearly visible, making them highly recommended for stitching large patterns. The charm lies in the natural and warm texture created by natural materials and handwork. The subtle variations in color are expressive and deep, making you want to gaze at them forever. < Floral Embroidery Colors: 10 Color Set > - Mango Green - Moss Green - Purple - Dusty Pink - Pink - Cream Yellow - Mango Yellow - Natural White - Light Blue (Pale Indigo) - Indigo < Size > 10/3 (Approx. 1mm thickness) Length per skein: Approx. 12m *Thickness is roughly equivalent to 5 strands of DMC #25 embroidery thread. < Material > Cotton (Plant-dyed) Recommended for: - Embroidery, Sashiko - Knitting/Crochet - Wall decorations like garlands - Making tassels and pompoms - Gift wrapping And much more! We hope you enjoy using them freely for your creative projects. ◎ --- ▽ View the cotton thread collection here: https://pinkoi.com/store/chikuchikutong?category=8&catp=group_8 *Threads ranging from 0.5mm to 3mm in thickness are available. --- https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/3748d31a78335817153dbcf3f4cfe5ae.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/022fcd99390be807df5babad31a300be.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/b65cad9d3d9661a0a3c692162f106070.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/082d4b5b876ef04ca4c09c8a18395490.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/e8c5bdbc478c9653ce43ce0baf4cc76f.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/1328f2ff825c1a84bd6fcb68a3239499.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/9e9b87dae259016b953399fab078446a.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp *Please note that due to the nature of natural materials and handmade processes, there may be uneven coloring, and variations in size, weight, and color between lots. (If you need consistent coloring, please purchase a sufficient quantity in a single order.) *There may be knots in the thread. *You are welcome to use these materials for creating works for exhibition or sale. We are happy to support a wide range of uses, from hobby crafting to professional work and workshops. If you need a large quantity or have requests for thread thickness, please feel free to contact us via message. *Colors may bleed slightly during washing initially (especially indigo shades). *We recommend hand washing with a neutral detergent. If using a washing machine, please wash separately in a laundry net on a gentle cycle (hand wash mode). However, machine washing may accelerate wear and fading. *Please check the care instructions and notes below before purchasing. ----- Instagram: @chikuchikutongtong "Chiku Chiku Tong Tong" works to preserve the traditional culture of the Karen people and build sustainable villages. It takes several weeks to three months to create a single item, from dyeing the threads to sewing and finishing. We hope you enjoy the changing hues of plant dyes over time and the unique texture of hand-woven fabrics for a long time. ----- *Please carefully check the "Size" and "Material" of the work before purchasing. *The color of the product image may differ from the actual product depending on your PC environment. *Wrapping may change without notice. *Considering the environment, we use minimal packaging using natural materials such as paper, plants, and plant-dyed threads as much as possible. We also use recycled paper and reused packaging materials. 【Please be sure to check the following before purchasing】 ・About Shipping We usually ship within 3 days after confirming payment, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in Thailand. Therefore, the weave, seams, colors, patterns, etc., are not uniform like mass-produced products. Also, Karen dyeing, weaving, embroidery, and sewing are traditional techniques passed down as home handicrafts rooted in daily life. They are different from professional industrial techniques. We try to work accurately, but unlike mass-produced or professional products, there may be imperfections. We hope you understand this as the charm of handwork passed down from mother to child before purchasing. ・About Payment Please pay within 3 business days after ordering (including the order date). Please note that if payment or contact cannot be confirmed after 3 business days, the order will be automatically cancelled. ・About Cancellations, Returns, and Exchanges We do not accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges after payment. If there is a defect that occurred before shipping, we will respond individually, so please contact us within 3 days after receiving the product. 【Care Instructions for Plant-Dyed and Hand-Woven Products】 Plant-dyed products are less resistant to washing and sunlight than chemical dyes, and the color will change with use. Please pay attention to the following points when caring for and using them. Friction or getting wet may cause color transfer or fading. Please be careful of color transfer when wearing or using light-colored clothes or bags. If you use dark-colored clothes or bags together, color transfer will be less noticeable. Dark colors especially tend to fade easily, so we recommend washing once before wearing. Also, when washing, we recommend hand washing separately from other clothes. If using a washing machine, use a neutral detergent, put it in a net, and wash separately from other clothes on a gentle cycle. Avoid using a dryer and dry in the shade. ・About Starching In the case of fabric products, threads starched with rice may be used, but the starch will come off after washing 2-3 times. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us!
