Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by rolling and flattening clay, smoothing the curves to achieve a perfect round shape. The combination of the Turkish blue glaze's crackle pattern and the coarse clay particles creates a unique texture, showcasing the inherent qualities of ceramic clay. Slightly larger than previous versions. Perfect not only for chopsticks but also as a spoon rest for small spoons. I work from home using a small electric kiln, handling every step by hand: from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing.
