In the easiest and simplest way, we will guide everyone on how to get started for the first time and weave textured ribbons by yourself. The complete course includes an introduction to fabric proper nouns, understanding of ribbon looms, understanding of tissue charts, making heddle threads, warping and weaving, and weaving a ribbon with your own feel. <<It is expected that there will be 3 styles of weaving (with 3 organization chart handouts attached), the length can be longer or shorter depending on personal ability>> +++ Lecturer introduction: Jiangbo Lihan (FB: Weaving Difficulty) is a member of the Taroko tribe in Hualien. He has been deeply interested in weaving under the influence of his mother since he was a child. He has been engaged in creation in the field of Taroko crafts for many years. He has successively held teaching positions at Xiulin Township Public Office, Taiwan Tourism College, Haixing High School, Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, etc., and has accumulated a lot of teaching experience. His unique male identity is limited by the traditional taboo in the ethnic group that men cannot weave cloth. But he has the courage to challenge tradition and insists on using innovative methods to let more people understand the Taroko weaving culture.
