2000: Awarded an honorable mention in the craft category at the 14th Nanying Art Exhibition for his work "Waiting for the Opportunity." Participated in a jade and stone joint exhibition at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall.
August: Participated in a jade and stone joint exhibition at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall.
2001: Invited to perform live carving at the Hualien International Art Festival, local creation zone.
2002: Selected for the "Dream of Craftsmanship" award at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition. Participated in a jade and stone joint exhibition at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau in January. Participated in the "Flowers and Trees Carnival" jade and stone joint exhibition in Luoxi, Changhua County, in May. Invited by the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Cultural Foundation and the Hualien County Cultural Affairs Bureau for the "Grand View of Stones" exhibition held in department stores in the north, central, and south of Taiwan from October to December.
2003: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute to exhibit works such as "Lotus Ecological Scenery" at the "Taitung Local Craft Exhibition" in the Presidential Office.
2004: Featured in the National Education Radio's "Arts and Culture Corridor - Xie Zhong-Ren Jade Stone Carving Exhibition" from March to June. Received an honorable mention at the 12th Taiwan Craft Design Competition's "Dream of Craftsmanship." Held a solo exhibition at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall from October to January 2005.
2005: Invited by the National Taiwan Museum to exhibit his work "Taiwanese Snacks - Braised Pork Rice." Participated in the "Sherlock Holmes Exhibition" with the National Museum of the Czech Republic from June to September. Established the "Yu Ning Shi" brand and opened a counter in a department store. Exhibited at the Pacific Sogo Department Store's "Craftsmanship Masters" event in mid-December.
2007: Invited to participate in the "Craftsmanship Without Distance - Application of Living Crafts Exhibition" at the Executive Yuan Gallery, hosted by the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute.
2008: His work "Japanese-style Yakitori" was selected for the "Taiwan Craft Competition" at the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute.
2012: Received an honorable mention in the traditional craft category for his work "Half Thought" at the "Taiwan Craft Competition" organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Research and Development Center of the National Taiwan Craft Institute. His work "Lin Jing Shan Shui" received an honorable mention in the craft category at the 21st "Nanying Award" in Tainan City.
2013: Invited to exhibit in the Taiwanese Jade Carving Masters Zone at the "Cross-Strait Jade Carving Exchange Gathering" exhibition at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall.
2016: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to exhibit three works – "Japanese-style Yakitori," "Handmade Mochi," and "The Moment of Leap" – at the Presidential Office Gallery's "Gathering Around the Hearth - Sustainable Craft Exhibition" as a Taiwanese craft artist.
2017: His work "Remnant Lotus Spring Intent" received an honorable mention at the Taoyuan Arts Exhibition in Taoyuan City.
2018: Held his solo exhibition "Xie Zhong-Ren's 30 Years of Jade Carving - The Continuation of Culture" at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall.
2019: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to exhibit his work "Auspicious Dragon Offering Blessings" at the Presidential Office Gallery's "Feast · Happiness" exhibition from January to June.
2020: His work "Heart's Delight, Art's Radiance - Boutique Exhibition of the Taiwan Craft Development Association" was jointly exhibited at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau from July 29 to August 1, 2020, and at the Taipei Dangdai Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center from October 6, 2020, to February 28, 2021.
2021: His work "Japanese-style Yakitori" was exhibited at the "Creative Regeneration Green Craft" exhibition hosted by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center from October to November. His work "Handmade Mochi" was selected for the 2021 Taiwan Craft Competition and toured at the Taipei Dangdai Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center, as well as Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Store, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Tainan Ximen Store, and Taichung Store.
