High Value & Easy-Care Araceae Family Syngonium Milk Confetti Introducing the charming Syngonium Milk Confetti. Its new emerging leaves are creamy yellow, maturing into an apple green. It's one of the lighter-hued varieties in the Araceae family, adorned with irregular pink splotches, reminiscent of scattered confetti, hence its name. Personally, I find it more akin to adorable watercolor splatters. Compared to the variegated Syngoniums on the official website, its leaves are a broader, more arrow-shaped form. It thrives in bright, indirect light – ideal for an east-facing windowsill or a sunroom. However, direct, harsh afternoon sun, especially in summer, can scorch the leaves, so do keep this in mind. Watering is similar to other Syngoniums, making it a very manageable plant. Water only when the top inch or two of soil feels dry to the touch. Mature plants develop 3-5 lobed compound leaves from new shoots. Aerial roots easily form at nodes, and it enjoys climbing supports or walls. ◼︎ Light ◼︎ Bright, indirect light. In low light, variegation may fade. Avoid direct sun in summer, opting for partial shade. Excessive sunlight can cause leaf edges to yellow and dry. ◼︎ Water ◼︎ Water thoroughly in summer. Each watering should allow water to drain from the pot, but avoid waterlogging the base. Water again when the soil feels slightly dry. ◼︎ Fertilizer ◼︎ Due to its rapid growth, apply diluted fertilizer once every three weeks from spring to autumn.
