These hook-style earrings are designed with two small cherry blossoms as their motif.
Have you ever noticed delicate cherry blossoms blooming directly from the lower part of a tree trunk?
I have always found them intriguing, and upon researching, I discovered that in the art of flower arrangement, this phenomenon is called doubuki (胴吹き).
It is commonly seen in old cherry trees, where the tree, drawing on its remaining strength, blooms directly from the trunk to secure nutrients. Learning this deepened my admiration for the resilience of nature.
For these earrings, I adapted a previous cherry blossom design, extending the stem and adjusting the angle to emphasize the graceful side profile of the flowers.
As a hook-style earring, it sways gently with movement, adding a subtle touch of elegance.
The slightly rough polished finish, combined with the soft pink gold hue, creates a refined and sophisticated look.
