However, like silver, brass can oxidize over time, darkening in color due to exposure to moisture, sweat, and air. While some appreciate this natural patina, regular care can help maintain its original luster. ♦ Avoid contact with water. ♦ Store in a resealable pouch when not being worn. If the luster appears to fade, a few simple methods can restore your jewelry to its former brilliance.
