Deer antler ammolite pendant

Based on the concept of "wearable nature," we create accessories and small items using deer antlers, buffalo horns, iridescent coral, natural stones, etc. on Okushiri Island in Hokkaido. We use materials collected from the natural environment and value the texture and flavor that only natural products can have. This is a deer antler ammolite pendant. The loose ammolite is wrapped in a silver flat square plate coated with silver 925 rhodium. Ammolite is a fossil gemstone that emits an iridescent effect when the aragonite (a substance that makes up the nacre) on the surface of the shell of ammonite, which lived in the late Cretaceous period (65 million to 135 million years ago), is affected by minerals and pressure in the ground for tens of millions of years during the fossilization process. It is a natural creation that has both the aspects of a fossil and a gemstone.
