Some people think that broken things are more flavorful, and appreciate that kind of incomplete beauty, there are no rules to follow, not permanent, incomplete, imperfect, the aesthetics of wabi-sabi is probably the same thing.
Every broken item, like a wound on the body, can tell a story. If a wound is a medal for a person, then a crack is the medal for an object.
Original design by Guang Shan Xing: Jin Ji Pin Badge, based on the concept of Jin Ji's three important restoration elements:
"Cracks" (ひびhibi) Cracks appear around the vessel, but no whole piece is split apart.
"Crack" (cut れware) has split into pieces and needs to be reconnected.
"Cracked corners" (不けkake) are missing corners due to collision, and the fragments cannot be recovered or the fragments are too small to be attached.
