Planting Guidelines:
Preparation before planting
In order to facilitate germination, the seeds are dried and stored after jelly treatment, do not sow directly. Refill with water before use.
○ Prepare a small plate and soak the seeds in water. Add about 50cc of tap water and add 3 dried heart tomato seeds to the water, leaving 1 seed. *Store one in the refrigerator for later use.
○ Leave it for 4~5 hours, when it becomes a jelly-like sphere of about 8mm, you can use it. * If the swelling is not enough, soak it again with clean water.
ready to sow
○ Take out all the contents of the heart-shaped pot, and take out the inner pot inside. Put a layer of bottom paper on the bottom of the inner pot and put it into the cultivator to prevent the pad from slipping off.
○ Water slowly, allowing the water to spread over the soil and allow the water to soak into the soil. (Be careful not to pour too much, the soil will float.)
○ After soaking in water, flatten the surface of the soil with disposable chopsticks.
sowing
○ Leave some space between the seeds, make a small depression, sow 3 seeds so they are half-filled, and cover with a little soil. Then return the pot to the heart-shaped pot container.
before germination
○ Keep the soil surface dry and out of direct sunlight until germination.
○ Please manage in a bright place suitable for cultivation. *To prevent the soil from drying out, cover the seeds lightly with plastic wrap etc. for better germination.
○ Remove the wrapping immediately after germination. Watering before germination and early growth should be done lightly with a sprayer to avoid digging the soil.
after germination
○ After germination, place in a sunny and well-ventilated place (more than half a day). When the soil surface is dry, water enough, and it can be cultivated when it is slightly dry.
○ Leave a strong seedling and grow it
○ Depending on the growth of the seedlings, erect a commercially available stand to stabilize the seedlings. Please set up a stand that can be firmly fixed, because it will have a large fruit.
○ Fertilization: When flowering begins, apply additional fertilizer.
○ Pollination: When the flowers start to bloom, gently shake the inflorescences to pollinate.
○ Harvest: Harvest when the fruit turns red. It takes about a month for the green fruit to turn brown.
