This results in a "lightness" and "softness," and we value its relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As it's woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are inevitably "weaving flaws" that may initially look like "fraying." While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and careful cutting of the fabric, using them in inconspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it's impossible to eliminate them completely.
