【Lijar】 In ancient myths, there exists a beautiful figure in the azure, the queen who governs all the oceans. Lijar (Liyal/Rijar/Sarawangaw) is the Sea Queen from Amis mythology, one of the eight deities in the creation myth. During the creation process, I pondered whether to adopt a more figurative approach or to capture a sense of atmosphere. After sketching several designs (many good ideas emerged, which I'll gradually bring to life later), I decided to first create a piece that embodies atmosphere, featuring a freshwater pearl at the heart of the ocean, symbolizing inclusivity and resilience, much like the birth of a queen.
