This is a marquetry necklace made in collaboration with Hoshoji Yaki Shokagama.
This was made by reusing items that could not be sold at the time of firing.
Wanting to cherish wood, we used wood from demolished houses and scraps from construction sites, and created geometric patterns that make the most of the wood's natural texture.
Finished with a 100% natural wax blend of beeswax and plant-derived oils.
Care instructions
If the leather loses its luster or scratches become noticeable, apply some vegetable oil such as olive oil or camellia oil and then wipe it off with a dry cloth to restore the luster.
We make our products using materials that we have on hand, such as cherry, chestnut, cypress, beech, oak, cedar, Japanese beech, and ebony.
Hardware: 14k gold filled
