Product Description

These design playing cards are based on the concept of Japanese culture and are made of Inshu Washi paper(Japanese Traditional Paper) as the material. The role and origin of the cards are reinterpreted in a Japanese context, and expressed in a unique design based on the theme of waka poems of the four seasons. Spades: Snow (winter) Diamonds: Cherry blossoms (spring) Clubs: drops of water (summer) Heart: Autumn leaves (Autumn) Face card:Poets who read Waka(Japanese poems) of the four seasons. Joker: Moon (lunar calendar) The box is an original made of Hinoki Masu (Japanese cypress). The name "URUUFUDA" paradoxically captures the meaning of "閏(URUU)" in the character for leap , and suggests, "Wouldn't it be nice if there were such a playing card in the world?" The name "URUUFUDA" was chosen to express this idea.(札/FUDA means cards.) Manufactured by: Shoei Co. Material: Innshu Japanese paper(Tottori prefecture), Kozo paper, color printing on both sides, varnishing, rounded corners Number of cards: 54 cards (13 x 4 cards + 2 jokers) + 2 contrast charts for marks and picture cards Bridge size: approx. 57 mm x 89 mm, thickness: approx. 22 mm Outer box size : approx. 76mm x 107mm x 45mm ・The cards can be played as cards, but please handle them as carefully as possible due to their delicacy. ・Please refrain from using the cards in competitions or magic tricks, etc., as there is a possibility that unevenness may occur from one sheet of paper to another. ・Please do not use it in competitions or for magic. -When the material Japanese paper is manufactured, minute scratches and stains may adhere to it. ・Please refrain from storing the paper in direct sunlight or in places with high temperature or humidity.
