閏札 URUUFUDA　Playing Cards × Japanese Traditional Paper

These design playing cards are based on the concept of Japanese culture and are made of Inshu Washi paper（Japanese Traditional Paper） as the material. The role and origin of the cards are reinterpreted in a Japanese context, and expressed in a unique design based on the theme of waka poems of the four seasons. Spades: Snow (winter) Diamonds: Cherry blossoms (spring) Clubs: drops of water (summer) Heart: Autumn leaves (Autumn) Face card：Poets who read Waka（Japanese poems） of the four seasons. Joker: Moon (lunar calendar) The box is an original made of Hinoki Masu (Japanese cypress). The name "URUUFUDA" paradoxically captures the meaning of "閏（URUU）" in the character for leap , and suggests, "Wouldn't it be nice if there were such a playing card in the world?" The name "URUUFUDA" was chosen to express this idea.（札／FUDA means cards.） Manufactured by: Shoei Co.
