A Story of Interconnected Everyday Lives: Sapphire & Black Diamond - General Rings - Other Metals Silver

Product Description

Our daily lives unfold in a continuous flow—night falls, the blue sky of day arrives, and night falls once more. As this cycle repeats—seemingly for an eternity—our everyday lives take shape. Amidst these seemingly ordinary repetitions, there are moments when we realize the true importance of it all. Each time such a realization dawns, a subtle shift occurs within our hearts. By sensing something precious in our daily lives, we can become better versions of ourselves for tomorrow. I believe this is a truly important and wonderful thing. This piece is inspired by the story of everyday life, featuring two black diamonds and a sapphire set at the center. I have crafted a design that allows you to enjoy the combination of these gemstones—simple yet possessing a high-quality brilliance—in a variety of settings. *Please specify your desired size when placing your order. Sizes are available from 1 to 20 (in 0.5-size increments). We can also accommodate requests to set different stones, so please feel free to contact us with any questions. *Important* Because the stones are set by embedding them directly into the metal, applying heat—which is necessary for resizing—is not possible once the piece is finished. Therefore, please ensure you order the correct size by measuring with a ring gauge. ~Product Details~ *Metal: Silver 925 *Black Diamond: Faceted round cut, 1.5mm *Sapphire: Faceted round cut, 1.5mm *Width: Approx. 2mm *Thickness: Approx. 1.8mm *Sizes available: 1–20 (in 0.5-size increments) ~About the Gemstones~ "Sapphire" Historically, the word "sapphire" referred to blue stones; in the era of the Old Testament, lapis lazuli was apparently called sapphire. While there is a strong general impression that sapphires are blue, they actually come in a variety of colors. They belong to the corundum group—the hardest mineral family after diamond—where the deep red variety is called ruby, and all other colors are classified as sapphire. Blue sapphire is the most beloved variety worldwide, with the specific shade of blue varying depending on the stone's origin. "Diamond" Among the many types of gemstones, the diamond is the most famous. In ancient times, its extreme hardness made it less valued than stones like rubies; however, advancements in cutting technology allowed for cuts that maximize its brilliance, elevating it to the status of the ultimate gemstone. They are characterized by a wide range of colors, spanning from colorless and transparent to brown, yellow, blue, black, and even the highly expensive and rare pink. "Silver 925" Silver 925 (also known as Sterling Silver) is an alloy consisting of 92.5% silver mixed with other metals, such as copper. Since 100% pure silver lacks the durability required for jewelry, Silver 925 is the standard grade used for most silver accessories on the market. Notably, Silver 925 is rarely sold to the general public in the form of raw bullion. Like brass, silver is prone to "sulfidation"—darkening or yellowing due to exposure to elements in the air. To maintain its shine, wipe the item after contact with water or sweat, and store it away from air exposure when not in use. While tarnish can be removed with a silver polishing cloth, these cloths contain abrasives; please exercise caution to avoid over-polishing or accidentally scratching the metal or any attached natural stones. The most important precaution concerns hot springs. Exposure to sulfur in hot spring water can cause the silver to turn completely black—potentially beyond repair—so please strictly avoid wearing silver jewelry while bathing in hot springs. Important Notes Please note that any issues regarding metal allergies or sensitivities are the customer's own responsibility. We also accept requests for resizing or re-polishing. Please contact us via message first; the customer is responsible for shipping costs in these instances. The names used for natural stones are those provided by our suppliers. We do not conduct independent appraisals, so please understand this before making a purchase. "Non-standard size mail" (Teikeigai-yubin) is handled similarly to standard postcards; it does not include a tracking number or insurance coverage. We cannot provide compensation for delivery mishaps or losses when using this shipping method. Should such a situation arise, we can produce and reship the item—provided it is not a one-of-a-kind piece—upon payment of an additional fee equivalent to 25% of the original price. Please note that if more than three days elapse between the order and payment without any communication from you, we will cancel the transaction after notifying you of our intent to do so. This item is also sold elsewhere; please be aware that stock levels may fluctuate, and there is a possibility that the item may become unavailable for sale.
