The distinctive crystalline glaze features a calming brown hue, sprinkled with fine, sparkling crystals. This medium-sized plate brings these two elements together. A medium-sized plate typically measures about 15 to 18 cm in diameter, making it perfectly suited for use as a large appetizer plate, a dish for individual servings, or a delightful cake plate. Its earthy tones harmonize beautifully with food, especially ingredients that celebrate their natural origins. All stages of production, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are meticulously done by hand in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. To address this, all our pottery undergoes a waterproofing treatment with a food-safe sealant before shipping, eliminating the need for initial soaking (mezome). This treatment requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement. If you prefer not to have this treatment applied, please inform us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - Product images are carefully photographed and edited to represent the actual item as accurately as possible.
