"Tochigi Leather," which showcases the natural beauty of cowhide, is tanned from "hide" to "leather" by Tochigi Leather Co., Ltd. in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture. It's a full vegetable-tanned saddle leather, processed using tannins extracted from mimosa bark, without harmful chemicals. This highest-grade cowhide undergoes 20 meticulous steps, passed down since its founding in 1937. "Tochigi Leather," with its inherent natural grain, is highly regarded not only in Japan but also by leading apparel manufacturers overseas. [The Red Tag: A Mark of Tochigi Leather] The red tag is exclusively permitted for creations made with 100% "Tochigi Leather." At "Your Side Door," we attach the "red tag," a symbol of "Tochigi Leather," to pieces priced above 3000 yen. However, all our creations are made using "Tochigi Leather." As a fellow establishment in Tochigi Prefecture, we proudly craft all our items from 100% "Tochigi Leather."
