We reuse broken or chipped ceramics that would otherwise be discarded, applying Kintsugi to transform them into accessories. Our concept is to create modern accessories that connect to the future, allowing you to feel closer to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, while giving new possibilities to these materials. We've paired elegant ceramic fragments, adorned with a black and gold Seigaiha wave pattern, with obsidian. The sides of the ceramic pieces feature Kintsugi, allowing the gold to catch the light from every angle and adding a touch of refined elegance. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi using natural lacquer from the urushi tree, this method uses adhesive for bonding.
