With a hardness of 6.5-7, jadeite is relatively easy to carve and polish, making carved pieces and items commonly seen in the market. Currently, some jadeite with lower quality can be made to resemble high-grade jadeite through processes like strong acid soaking or laser etching to fill in color. Jadeite in the market is typically identified by the letters A, B, and C to distinguish its quality: - Grade A Jadeite: Natural jadeite, unprocessed. - Grade B Jadeite: Bleached and resin-infused jadeite, treated with strong acid cleaning and resin filling. - Grade C Jadeite: Dyed jadeite, artificially colored. Only Grade A jadeite is genuine; the rest are artificially treated. 💖 Care Instructions 💖 - For long periods of non-wear, store in a moisture-proof bag to minimize air exposure. - Store each piece of jewelry separately to prevent scratches from friction. For chain jewelry, fasten it before storing in a moisture-proof bag to avoid tangling. - Sterling Silver: Use a silver polishing cloth. - Gold-Filled/Plated Materials: Use a cotton cloth (do not use silver cleaner). - Jadeite & Gemstones: Use a soft toothbrush with clean water to gently brush the jadeite. Dry with a cotton cloth or allow to air dry in a ventilated area after rinsing. Avoid wearing jewelry in hot springs or contact with seawater. It is recommended to remove jewelry when showering. Avoid contact with chemical products to prevent oxidation and fading. - It is recommended to apply sunscreen and perfume before putting on jewelry. - All jewelry is handmade. Avoid pulling, bending, twisting, or yanking when wearing. 🌹 Before You Buy 🌹 - Jadeite is a natural mineral, so it is inevitable that there may be small natural stone lines, inclusions, veins, black spots, white impurities, mineral deficiencies, sand holes, or fragmented ice-like structures in the ice jade. These are all natural phenomena and characteristics, not flaws. Please ensure you accept this before purchasing ♥ - Due to manual carving, there may be slight roughness or unevenness in polishing and grinding. We appreciate your understanding. - Product photos are taken in natural light without retouching. However, slight color differences may occur due to variations in individual screen resolutions and settings.
