In 1972 at the Arsenal Plant (Kiev city, former USSR) was introduced SALUT-S camera, mostly common with previous SALUT, but with other type of springblend aperture driver. The KIEV-88 and KIEV-88 TTL cameras were introduced in 1979. The prism received a built-in light-meter, but the other features are mostly the same as the previous model SALUT-S. Soviet shooters liked different features of SALUT-S and KIEV-88 cameras: removable film-backs (include 6x4.5 cm), high quality lenses, metal curtain shutter, which can work at low temperatures. KIEV-88CM became the next step of post-Soviet cameras development, and we didn't described it at presented Instruction Manual. TECHNICAL FEATURES * The Manual was made by Me after original manufacturer's Manual on Russian. * The booklet consist of 24 pages with 15 pictures and 3 tables and describes basic operations with the camera, according with minor divergences between Salut-S and Kiev-88 cameras. * The booklet have 1/3 size of A4 paper sheet.
