1700s wrought iron spiral candlestick

This is a very early (1740-1820) wrought iron hand-hammered spiral candlestick. The base is made of hand-turned wood, with a chair hook on the top, also known as a tail, which can be connected to the back of the chair. There is a rotating adjustment position at the bottom, which can adjust the height of the candle along the spiral iron frame, making it suitable for travelers at that time to use when traveling. The fusion of wood and iron creates a wabi-sabi feel, adding warmth and personality to the simple space.
