If the leather becomes heavily saturated with water, first gently pat it dry with a clean cloth and then air dry it in a well-ventilated area. 2. To prevent dark water stains if water droplets land on the leather: Use a pure water wet wipe, a damp cloth (wrung out so it doesn't drip), or paper/napkin to evenly wipe the entire leather surface, including the area where the water landed. Use a cool air setting to dry evenly. Once dry, lightly polish with a dry cotton cloth and leather oil for maintenance. 3. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. 4. In addition to the natural warmth and oils from your hands, which gradually impart a warm luster to the leather, we recommend regularly wiping with a dry cotton cloth and then applying leather oil for care. 5. Mold spots on leather are formed over time from dust and humidity. If storing leather items for an extended period, first wipe off any dust with a dry cotton cloth, then wrap the item in a dust bag, kraft paper, or cotton cloth (you can cut up an old white t-shirt) and store it in a well-ventilated area. Alternatively, frequent handling of the leather item (to prevent dust and moisture buildup) can also reduce the chance of mold. We suggest taking out the item monthly for the aforementioned maintenance. 6. Avoid using cleaning or care products containing alcohol. **About Natural Leather:** During the cow's growth, insect bites may leave marks. We strive to avoid obvious scars during production. Additionally, each piece of leather will have natural grain patterns.
