Embroidered patches are often called fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery appliqués. However, most fabric patches require ironing to adhere them, typically to fabric materials or to cover small holes. Our Hi-Hello embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them perfect for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They're ideal as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique together! 🏷 How do I use the embroidered patches? Using Hi-Hello embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery thread. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely for a secure bond. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure it stays firmly attached! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're uncertain about the material, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand to prevent high temperatures from damaging your item. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it peel off easily? Hi-Hello embroidered patches have a strong adhesive backing. They are designed to stay put on most smooth, non-fabric surfaces. For fabric items (like clothes, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing reinforcement will significantly increase their durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off after washing? Once ironed and sewn for reinforcement, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing without easily coming off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be repositioned? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is single-use and not designed for repositioning. Please decide on the placement before applying. If you peel one off, the fabric patch itself can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration. 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before using any cleaning agent, please test it on an inconspicuous area to ensure it won't damage your item's surface. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as heat will melt the adhesive, making it stickier and harder to remove.
