However, this piece achieves exceptional rigidity by embedding custom-made micro-components into each incision. By applying a generous curvature to the already thin material, we have further enhanced the visual effect, creating an even more streamlined and elegant silhouette. Technical Excellence To realize the ambitious vision of using ultra-thin materials for seating, we have applied 5mm incisions into the 10mm oak. By integrating precision components angled at 8.4° into these gaps, we have achieved a high level of structural rigidity through this proprietary technique.
