Perhaps a hidden world quietly exists, right near us. That's the story. Chimchiminey, with its chimney-shaped smile. Its occupation is a chimney sweep. The job is to clean the soot from chimneys. And then there's Hesoguma, the bear with a belly button. Its job is to assist the chimney sweep. Chimchiminey and Hesoguma are very good friends. On their days off, they enjoy their lives by gathering mushrooms and nuts, taking walks with their forest friends, and baking sweets. Occasionally, they sneak into the human world to pilfer sweets or play pranks. Watching them from afar is the One-Eyed Monster! The Tear Monster. It looks scary, but it's actually very kind. It lives by consuming human sadness. It tries to cheer up people who are sad or crying by giving them delicious sweets and bread. And then there are characters like Heslooth and Hesocats, who make subtle appearances. Yes, these works are themed around that kind of small, small world where they live.
