This is a round tote bag made from split cowhide velour and extra-thick oil-tanned leather. It features a snap button at the opening, allowing you to change and enjoy its shape! The bottom has darts, so when you put items inside, the shape becomes more three-dimensional and round, resulting in a cute, plump silhouette. Split cowhide velour is made by raising the nap on the inner side of the tanned hide with sandpaper or similar tools. It's a leather material with a short, soft nap and a unique luster and warmth. Materials finished with a finer nap are called split suede (床スエード), while those with a coarser finish are called split velour (床ベロア). Similar to suede, small scratches may appear very rarely, but please understand this is a characteristic of the leather. The leather used for the handle is an extra-thick, oil-shrunken cow leather of about 3.5mm. Furthermore, it is a highly-oiled tanned leather (多脂ヌメ) that is rich in oil, making it very soft despite its thickness, and it will gain character the more you use it!
