Because the fabric is woven using a shuttle machine in Kurashiki that is over 100 years old, there are inevitably marks called "weaving marks" which at first glance look like fraying. This is something that cannot be prevented when using old machines, but in addition to thorough inspections at the factory, we try to avoid it as much as possible when cutting the fabric, and if we still find it, we use it in an inconspicuous place. However, since it is a characteristic of the machines, we cannot completely eliminate it.
