In 2021, as demand for home-cooked meals increases, Mikawachi-yaki curry plates will debut.
Mikawachi-yaki is a kiln used by the Hirado clan that has inherited a history dating back 400 years when potters introduced porcelain.
This technique has been passed down to this day, and the high quality of the pottery is well-regarded overseas.
We have created a new curry plate using Mikawachi ware, which is based on sophisticated Japanese tableware.
This time, we had a competition of techniques using joint molds from three Mikawachiyaki kilns.
This plate was made by Kasho Hirato.
The three main colors add flair to the modern arabesque.
The overall shine of spray paint gives it a luxurious feel.
It goes well with a variety of curries and has an overall stylish look.
Enjoy a wide variety of curries such as home-made curry, ordered curry, seasonal vegetables, and saffron rice.
A specially designed plate that complements curry.
Recommended item for adults as well as a gift for your loved ones.
If you notice dirt after using it several times, wipe the surface with bleach and rinse thoroughly.
You can restore it to its original state by soaking it in diluted bleach (in that case, rinse thoroughly with water).
