Broken or chipped ceramics, no longer in use, are upcycled and meticulously repaired with Kintsugi to create these unique accessories. The concept behind these pieces is to foster a connection with nature and Japan's enduring traditions, reimagining them into modern accessories that bridge the past and future, thereby creating new possibilities. Elegant grey pottery shards are paired with freshwater pearls. The sides of the pottery fragments are embellished with Kintsugi, allowing the gold to beautifully catch the light from every angle, adding a touch of refined grace. Unlike traditional Kintsugi which uses natural lacquer derived from the urushi tree sap, this process utilizes adhesive for the primary bonding.
