(It's easier to insert if you hold the rubber cover at the back and pull it upwards.) Once firmly clasped with your fingers, slide it down to your earlobe, positioning it on the thickest part. The key is to slightly close the clip before inserting it near your ear, making the opening just wide enough to slide in. It might be difficult to slide once you bring it to your earlobe because it's already clamped firmly, but this is what makes them hard to fall off. If they slide off with a slight pull after wearing, they are a bit loose. If clamped securely, they won't fall off even with a moderate pull.
