Kendon tea box with handle

One of the things I've wanted to make for a long time is a tea box with a drawer. The lid is a locking type and also has a handle. I was worried about my tea box slipping when I held it during practice, so I made a tea box with a handle. There are two drawers, one shallow on top and one deep on the bottom. There are no rules about what to put in and how to put it in, so I would be happy if you could make it easier to use. The drawers come with two linings. You can place sweets on it, or you can place utensils used when preparing tea. Rather than leaving the drawers exposed, we decided to add economical lids. I think it would be beautiful to incorporate the gesture of opening the lid into the tea ceremony. The boards on both ends of the lid and the handles are accented with dark walnut. The design of the lid knob is also well balanced. Of course, it can be used as a tea box, but I think it would also come in handy as a small box to store your important belongings.
