Inspired by Caesar's expression in the movie "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," we felt his proud and commanding demeanor would be a perfect fit for the Monkey King.
The interior of this ring is engraved with the essence of the Heart Sutra—the "Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Mantra." This mantra originates from the *Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Sūtra*, translated by the Venerable Xuanzang upon his return from retrieving Buddhist scriptures from India. It serves as the conclusion and core of the entire Heart Sutra.
The Venerable Xuanzang embarked on a perilous journey to the West in search of Buddhist teachings, bringing Dharma back to the East and establishing a profound lineage, his merits immeasurable. In many films and television adaptations, Tang Sanzang is depicted teaching the unruly Sun Wukong to recite the Heart Sutra, thereby pacifying his aggression and anxieties, showcasing the sutra's power to subdue afflictions and guide wisdom.
Thus, we chose to engrave the "Hṛdaya Mantra" within the ring, as a tribute to the Venerable Xuanzang's spirit of spreading the Dharma, and as a symbol of the wearer's inner purity and enlightenment. This is not merely a ring, but a representation of a story and wisdom that has been passed down through millennia.
