After soaking and washing, raw cashews are blended together with sun-dried sea salt, canola oil and non-dairy yoghurt starter. Fermentation process takes about 24-36 hours depending on temperature, which is what makes it a real cream cheese, plant-based and gluten free. This original flavor cultured cream cheese offers lots of space for originality. You can create your own blend by mixing it with fresh/dried herbs, spices, onions, dried fruits (the list goes on). It can serve as a base for salad dressing, pasta sauce, etc. You can even thin it up and drizzle on desserts. Or use it just as it is (a spread on toasts sounds yum). You can take a scoop of it and make a new batch of your own cream cheese if you’re up for it. Lots of variety comes with it. We know it has become a pantry staple for us. Our vegan cream cheese comes in a 100g reusable glass jar instead of a disposable plastic container. Ingredients: Raw whole cashews, Water, Sun-dried sea salt, Canola oil, Non-dairy yoghurt starter Recommended Storage Conditions: 7-10 days in fridge. It can be kept for a longer time. Fermentation will continue in the fridge, slowly. As time goes on, cream cheese will become more flavorful and sour. If it becomes too sour for your taste, you can use it as a starter and make your own cream cheese. Delivery of this product is currently only available within Taiwan.
