As long as the ring doesn't fall off due to being too loose or cause pain from being too tight, it's considered normal. 2. When using a ring sizer, the fit should be comfortable and secure. If a size 12 is too loose and a size 11 is too tight, size 11.5 might be suitable. Finger size is affected by thermal expansion and contraction; it's typically about half a size larger in summer than in winter. Consider this: a slightly snug fit in summer and a slightly loose fit in winter is ideal. Alternatively, wearing rings on different fingers depending on the season is also a solution. If you are prone to swelling, avoid measuring your ring size during periods of swelling to ensure accuracy. 3. If you don't have a measuring tool, it's recommended to visit a nearby jewelry store or pawnshop to have your size measured professionally to avoid inaccuracies. 4. You can measure the inner diameter of an old ring and compare it to a size chart, or provide the measurement to the designer. The inner circle of the old ring must be perfectly round; deformed rings are not suitable. Be aware that visual distortions can also lead to inaccurate measurements. 5. Cut a strip of paper approximately 3mm wide. Wrap it snugly but comfortably around your finger. Mark where the paper overlaps. Lay the paper flat and measure the circumference, then consult a size chart or inform the designer.
