The initial design concept focused on creating a chair that not only served as a seat, but also as a small table next to the sofa, and an eye-catching work of art with sleek leg shapes. The pattern of the seat creates a dimension to swallow the workpiece, while the 3-legged leg design along the center of the piece provides a plumb line for balance and strength. Extensive research was conducted to explore wood and molding techniques, as well as user needs and preferences, ergonomics, materials, and artistic influences. The result is the unique and eye-catching Freaky lll Stool, which reflects the essence of design thinking and showcases the designer's creativity and commitment to pushing the boundaries of both art and functionality.
