It is co-managed with Taiwanese designer Oka HuiYun Lin. Currently, the brand is available at select retailers including Mimi Furasha, Bjork Florence, and La Gare 24 in Milan, Italy, and Boutique 51 in Cairo, Egypt. *Brand Style* With a fondness for gentleman's tailoring, Yojiro skillfully applies these techniques to womenswear. Classic pieces such as shirts, jackets, and coats showcase details and ingenuity derived from bespoke menswear. The brand embodies a spirit that is as vibrant and whimsical, yet tinged with anxiety and uncertainty, as a child's dream. Life itself is the inspiration; the emotional individuals around him often spark new ideas for Yojiro's designs, serving as his way of communicating his inner thoughts through his craft, as he is not one for words. *Yojiro Kake* Yojiro graduated from POLIMODA International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing in Italy in 2012, having studied fashion design. He previously studied and worked as a senior pattern maker and designer at YASUKO UEDA Technical College of Fashion in Japan. However, the profit-driven fast fashion industry did not align with his passion, leading him to pursue fashion design again at POLIMODA, an institution with a distinct teaching and design philosophy. Encouraged and supported by POLIMODA's director and mentor Linda Loppa (one of the Antwerp Six), Yojiro launched his independent brand the same year he graduated. *Oka HuiYun Lin* In 2013, Oka completed Fashion Styling studies at POLIMODA. She graduated from the Department of Industrial Design and the College of Fashion and Textiles, specializing in Shoe and Bag Design, at Shih Chien University. Her past roles include visual and bag design, as well as brief stints in restaurant service and boutique retail. At the Yojiro Kake studio, she is responsible for brand image, seasonal style direction, brand audiovisuals, exhibition planning, and sales.
