Let the story of your family unfold quietly in the pages of the book
The book "Kinfolk Dining Table" has a faint "smell" of a recipe book, taking us into the lives of people from different professions and exploring 53 unique family spaces and life philosophies through their dining tables.
Each chapter starts with an introduction to the craftsmen on the left page and images of the characters on the right page. There are stories of 53 craftsmen, including photographers, band members, florists, writers, etc., and their recipes.
It is absolutely impossible for me to read recipe books (?). As a person with no sense of taste who is not a big fan of food, I like the appearance of the table, the way of setting it up, and the combination of utensils in this book. The craftsmen of this generation are brilliant in their respective fields, but they will not give up good things easily.
A cutting-edge interior designer from Denmark tries his best to get rid of the old traditional style, but still retains the eating habits developed with his family: he goes to the market every day to buy seasonal ingredients and cooks them himself.
PS Every time I write about the Kinfolk series, I must wait until I can calm down and write a sincere review. It seems that only in this way can I be worthy of this book that everyone likes.
