The concept is inspired by the totems on the "Bai Shou Jin" (large longevity paper money) used in folk religious rituals.
Traditionally, these papers are printed with images of the three deities of Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity, specifically offered to deities to pray for blessings and peace.
In traditional belief, burning paper products adorned with such totems transforms them into tangible items in the spiritual realm.
Perhaps the spirit world could also use some charming things, and so the task falls to the "Shiny Sisters."
This is a single greeting card.
The handmade paper offers a uniquely textured, rough feel,
with visible flecks of paper embedded within.
It fully embodies the concept of "Jin Zhi" (traditional paper offerings).
(Please note: it does not carry the spiritual significance of actual Jin Zhi.)
