All stages of production—from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing—are meticulously done by hand in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece possesses its own unique character, offering a charm that comes from being handmade. To address this, all our ceramic pieces undergo a waterproofing treatment using a sealant for tableware before shipping, eliminating the need for initial seasoning (mezome). This treatment requires 2-3 days, which is why we allow a 5-day period between order placement and shipment. If you prefer not to have the waterproofing treatment applied, please notify us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in the product images is not included. - The color of the glaze can appear more white under natural daylight or white light, and take on warmer, more reddish or yellowish tones under evening light or warm-toned lamps. - While we strive to ensure product images accurately represent the actual item, colors may vary depending on your monitor settings and ambient lighting conditions.
