From cutting the leather, surface finishing, edge trimming, to assembly and attaching hardware—all steps are meticulously executed by the designer, with slow, deliberate stitching or hand-sewing. Hardware components are selected from MIT-made or imported alloy or pure copper plated materials, ensuring long-lasting durability without the worry of rust. The quantity of imported leather is limited, and the selection of each color is particularly scarce. If a color or material runs out, replenishment is extremely difficult. Materials/ European imported vegetable-tanned cowhide leather Imported or Taiwan-made hardware accessories Precautions/ ● Natural leather surfaces often exhibit variations such as wrinkles, insect marks, scars, scratches, uneven dyeing, branding marks, and differences in grain patterns or texture. Even within the same hide, variations in leather quality due to different parts of the animal are normal. ● Leather dyeing and tanning methods vary. Certain special dyeing processes may cause the leather to change with use. Therefore, the surface is not waterproof. If exposed to water, gently pat dry with a clean cloth. For stains, absolutely do not rub vigorously with a wet cloth or solvents, as this may cause large stains or damage the leather surface. ● Vegetable-tanned leather has a softer surface, making it prone to minor scratches or machine marks during production. Dyed vegetable-tanned leather often shows indentations from the manufacturing process, resulting in variations in depth and color. Manufacturer logos, leather size markings, and QC marks may be visible on the interior of the leather; these are normal and not considered defects unless they create holes in the leather surface. ● This product is made to order.
